WHY TYR EXISTS
Most men's skincare falls into
one of two categories: cheap
drugstore products built on
synthetic fillers that do more
damage than good, or overpriced
premium products built on
women's skincare reformulated
with darker packaging and a
higher price tag.
Neither was built for how
men's skin actually works,
the biology, the concerns,
the way men actually live.
My name is Sebastian. Before
founding Tyr, I spent years
working inside the skincare
manufacturing industry, on
the production floor, next
to the people actually making
these products. I watched
firsthand which formulas were
built to perform and which ones
were built to sell.
When I partnered with my two
co-founders to build something
of our own, we had one rule:
every ingredient is there for
a reason. No fillers. No
synthetic fragrance masking
cheap base ingredients. No
marketing claims we can't
back up with the label.
We named the brand Tyr — the
Norse god of fairness and
sacrifice. Not strength.
Not dominance. Fairness.
That felt right for a brand
built on honest ingredients
and real results.
One note: we share the name
with Tyr Sport and one other
brand. We have no affiliation
with either. We chose the
name for its meaning and
we're building our own
identity around it.

exactly what each one does.
CLARIFYING FACIAL CLEANSER
The product we built the
brand around.
Most face washes do one thing:
clean the surface. Ours goes
further, Activated Charcoal
draws out what standard
cleansers leave behind,
pulling impurities from
within the pore rather
than just washing over them.
Key ingredients:
Activated Charcoal, up to
1,500 square meters of surface
area per gram. Adsorbs excess
oil, environmental pollutants,
and deep pore congestion that
regular cleansers miss.
White Willow Bark Extract,
nature's salicylic acid.
Oil-soluble and pore-penetrating,
it clears blackheads, reduces
post-shave inflammation, and
prevents the post-inflammatory
dark marks that form along
the jawline after razor bumps.
Vitamin C Ester, begins
working on dark spots and
uneven skin tone during
every wash. Inhibits melanin
overproduction so existing
spots fade and new ones
form less easily.
Hyaluronic Acid, maintains
hydration throughout the
cleansing process so the
deep clean never comes at
the cost of a compromised
skin barrier.
DMAE Bitartrate and MSM,
support skin firmness and
collagen production. Your
cleanser doing double duty
as an anti-aging treatment.
One thing to know: the
Clarifying Facial Cleanser
doesn't foam heavily. That's
intentional. The foam in
most face washes comes from
SLS, the same ingredient
that strips your skin barrier
and causes the compensatory
oil production most men
are trying to fix. Our
formula cleans through
Activated Charcoal adsorption,
not chemical stripping.
Give it two weeks and
judge it by what your
skin looks like, not
by how much it lathers.
Best for: all skin types.
Particularly effective for
oily skin, dark spots,
post-shave PIH, and men
who've never found a
cleanser that actually
works without drying
them out.
MEN'S BODY WASH
Skincare doesn't stop at
your face.
Our Body Wash is
built around three essential
oils that do what most body
washes never attempt: clean
effectively, energize your
senses, and actually benefit
your skin rather than just
washing it.
Key ingredients:
Ginger Root Essential Oil,
warming, energizing, and
naturally antibacterial.
Stimulates circulation and
delivers the clean, sharp
scent that wakes you up
in the shower without
synthetic fragrance.
Frankincense Essential Oil,
one of the oldest skincare
ingredients in existence.
Tones skin, reduces the
appearance of scars, and
provides the deep, grounding
base note that makes this
body wash smell genuinely
premium.
Coriander Seed Essential Oil,
naturally deodorizing and
antibacterial. Keeps skin
clean between washes and
completes the scent profile
with a subtle warmth that
works with the ginger and
frankincense without
competing with them.
No synthetic fragrance.
The scent you get is the
scent of ingredients that
are actually doing something.
Best for: daily use in
the shower. Hair and body.
Morning or evening.
JOJOBA LOTION
The moisturizer built for
men who think they don't
need moisturizer.
If you have oily skin,
this is the product that
will change how you think
about moisturizer. Jojoba's
molecular structure mirrors
human sebum so closely that
your skin's oil-producing
glands recognize it as sebum
and slow their own production
in response. Men who use
our Jojoba Lotion consistently
typically see measurably
less midday shine within
4–6 weeks, not from
stripping, but from the
skin finding its natural
equilibrium.
Key ingredients:
Jojoba Seed Oil, the hero.
Absorbs without residue,
regulates oil production,
and maintains the skin
barrier that everything
else depends on.
Coconut Oil, deeply
nourishing fatty acids
that strengthen the skin
barrier without the heavy
residue associated with
older coconut oil formulations.
Aloe Vera Leaf Juice,
lightweight hydration
and anti-inflammatory
properties that soothe
post-cleanse irritation
and help other ingredients
absorb evenly.
Neem Seed Oil, antibacterial
and anti-inflammatory.
Keeps pores clear between
washes and addresses the
bacterial component of
breakouts at the source.
Rose Distillate, balances
skin pH, tightens pores,
and delivers a subtle
freshness that softens
the lotion's overall scent.
White Willow Bark Extract,
continuing its pore-clearing
and anti-inflammatory work
in leave-on form. More
time on skin means more
time to work.
Rosemary Leaf Extract,
natural antioxidant
protection throughout
the day and a subtle
herbal freshness.
Best for: all skin types
as a daily face moisturizer.
Particularly effective for
oily skin, post-shave
recovery, and men dealing
with dark spots or uneven
skin tone.
THE ROUTINE
Morning (2 minutes):

sink → Jojoba Lotion
after drying off.
